Lost Country; America be going to hell!

Friday 20 October 2023 (book 20; pg. 65)

First, we all became socialist; now, we are all terrorists.  America be going to hell.

{I believe t}he founders of this country, who created a constitutional republic, had not intended for America to become what it has.  We have evolved into an executive tyranny, with a dysfunctional legislature and partisan court.

Monday 13 November 2023 (book 20; pgs. 72 – 73)

John Adams, along with many other constitutional convention delegates, said that the form of government they had created will only function properly if the citizenry is honest, educated and moral.  Honesty immediately went out the window as succeeding generations of politicians became evermore corrupt.  Next went education.  In my life time with the creation of the Department of Education (created in 1979; before that was the Department of Health, Education and Welfare created in 1953), the federal government has had a hand in politicizing learning and degrading public education.  We now see morality being discarded with federally pushed DEI being mandated by laws {in many places.  There is no more freedom to practice religion as so many of us were brought up, no matter what the belief system. DEI is now the de facto state religion.} America no longer exists as the Constitutional Republic it was meant to be.
